TPI Associate Membership

Who is eligible?

Any firm, partnership, or corporation engaged in the business of supplying products, equipment, machinery, or services generally used in the fabrication or use of metal connector plates and metal-plate-connected wood trusses shall be eligible for membership as a TPI Associate Member.

Example Associate Members:

  • Engineers

  • Architects and Building Designers

  • Framers

  • Lumber suppliers

  • Steel suppliers

  • Truss manufacturing equipment suppliers

  • Inspection agencies

  • Code Officials

  • Other

Annual Cost

Dues are $500 per year.

Dues will be invoiced in January and shall be due by March 1st of each year.

Included with Associate Membership

  • One hard copy of the most recent ANSI/TPI 1 standard and DSB standard

  • Electronic access to all available TPI standards and technical documents

  • Listing on the TPI website as an Associate Member and as an “Industry Resource” with your services listed.

  • Invitation to the annual Associate Member meeting

  • TPI Associate Member plaque (inaugural year only)

Associate Membership Meeting

Invitation to attend via web conference or in person (when available) an annual TPI Associate Member meeting. The purpose of the annual meeting is to present projects that TPI TAC and other TPI committees are working on and to discuss other industry-related topics that are germane to TPI’s mission, including:

  • Standards update projects  (current or upcoming)

  • Code issues relevant to MPC wood trusses

  • Truss design topics

  • Truss performance topics

  • Industry testing

  • Truss bracing

  • Truss repair

  • Manufacturing Quality Control
