Baird Quisenberry Elected as TPI Board President

The Truss Plate Institute (TPI) closed out the year with a leadership change at its End-of-Year Board Meeting in Arizona with the election of Baird Quisenberry of Eagle Metal as the new President of the TPI Board of Directors.

Baird brings a long history of involvement with TPI and a deep understanding of the metal plate connected wood truss industry. Through years of participation in TPI activities, standards development, and technical discussions, he has developed a strong appreciation for the role TPI plays in maintaining a sound engineering foundation for truss design and manufacturing.

As Board President, Baird plans to bring that experience and expertise forward as TPI continues to advance its objectives and long-term goals. A key focus of his leadership will be reinforcing the importance of TPI to the MPC wood truss industry, particularly TPI’s role in providing credible engineering standards, fostering technical collaboration, and serving as a trusted resource for designers, manufacturers, and code officials.

In conjunction with the leadership transition, Matt Vinson of Eagle Metal has been appointed as the new Chair of TPI’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
