The TPI 1 Project Committee held its first hybrid meeting on March 24th, 2022. Nine members were on-site to attend the meeting in Dallas, TX, and seventeen members participated in the discussion online via Zoom conferencing. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of the first TPI 1 Committee ballot of the updated TPI 1 standard and attempt to resolve the negative ballot votes.

There was excellent participation, and everyone had the opportunity to voice their opinions on the issues. As a result, all negative votes were resolved through modifications to the proposed language, withdrawal of negative votes, or consensus on omitting a proposed change.

Since a consensus was achieved on the updates to the standard, the Committee is now moving forward with the Public Review and Comment period, allowing anyone in the industry to review and comment on the proposed modifications. The Public Review process is expected to begin in April 2022.
